Darrell was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii and attended both the Kamehameha Schools and Punahou School Academy. He then obtained both his Undergraduate Degree in Business Administration and Law Degree from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. Although Darrell's educational background was in business-related areas, he found an undiminshing interest in criminal law while working as a 2nd year legal intern at the Honolulu Prosecutor's Office. Part of his duties included interacting with the likes of infamous criminal defendants of Hawaii's notorious organized crime world. As a result, he has served the City of Honolulu as a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney for 30 years under the Administrations of Charles Marsland, Peter Carlisle, and Keith Kaneshiro. Darrell has handled and supervised numerous cases ranging from Murder, Manslaughter, Negligent Homicide, Sexual Assault, White Collar, Domestic Violence, and Drunk Driving. Retiring from the Honolulu Prosecutor's Office in December 2015, Darrell now shares his wealth of knowledge and experience with those who are accused of crimes. Bar Admissions: Hawaii and Colorado.
